"Silent Spring" By Rachel Carson.
I've only read the first three chapters, merely touching the surface of the evils in pesticides, and I'm hooked. We were originally reading those chapters for AP Biology, and then we were going to turn the books in, but I cannot find myself to give up the hard truth about what we are doing to this world.

"Sister Winter" by Sufjan Stevens.
I've had this song stuck in my head for a bout three days now, and it won't get out.

"Girl" by City and Colour(Dallas Green)
This song is probably my favorite love song of all time. I will be playing this during my first dance at my wedding. If a guy sang this to me(with a very lovely voice, and while playing the guitar), I would marry him right then and there.
And I also love that the band's name is City and Colour(even though it's just one person). The reason for that is because his first name is Dallas, which is a city, and his last name is Green, which is obviously a color.
My favorite part of the song is the last minute or so. It's not even really words, it's just him singing softly with a light background music. It makes me smile :D
