Moon Boots
Some people have asked me why I wear my incredibly ugly, obnoxiously resembling marshmellows on my feet, moon boots to school. This is their answer.
I don't wear them to be different. I believe that anyone I care to know, knows that my personality succeeds well enough in making me different. I don't wear them to make a statement, nor am I against the fashion these days. I don't care if I'm the only one wearing them.
I wear them because it's snowing and I don't want my feet cold, or my socks wet. While everyone else is wearing 'fashionable' items such as uggs, which frankly are just as ugly, my feet are toasty warm and my pant legs are reasonably dry. I hate when you walk in that foot of snow and regret wearing those cute shoes. Well, this way I don't have any regrets. Although they may be bulky and not very cute, I don't give a rip about what the people at school think of me. I respect myself enough to have the guts to wear them in public, while others don't.
If you are a fashion zombie(I love that term, it makes me laugh), then you're probably not too fond of me. But here's what I have to say to you: My feet are warm. Too bad for you.
